One of my favourite pieces of lingerie is my black corset.   It is constructed of a satin-like fabric, is boned and has lacing up the back.  I normally wear it with lace boy shorts and thigh-high stay-up stockings.

I was never really into corsets but now I am obsessed with them.  If fitted properly they are very comfortable to wear, although on a hot day, they can be a bit too steamy to keep on too long, even though they are rather brief, although that could be that it is not the heat as much as the fact that I find dressing in these kind of unmentionables rather arousing.

My body is not perfect, as you’d expect for a woman of my age who hasn’t bothered to get any cosmetic surgery work done, but corsets of course are flattering because they bring in a woman’s waist, and her bosom can spill out seductively over the top (look closely and you will see the edge of a pink nipple in the top group of photos – click to enlarge).

This particular corset is very easy to put on and take off, as it has hooks and eyes fastening it up the middle of the front.

When first trying on a corset, it is a two person job because you need to do up the hooks and eyes at the front, then have someone tighten the lacing at the back.  It needs to be tightened as tightly as practicable to cinch in the waist and flatten the tummy, which is particularly useful if a woman has ever been pregnant and has the mummy tummy thing going on.

In another post, I claimed rather outrageously that in some cases sex work is merely the outsourcing of sex relations to a woman who is happy to carry out that service, just as couples might outsource the gardening, or the childcare for that matter.  I mentioned in the post that a man might like his partner to dress in lingerie but she might feel it’s a little “whorish” – this was a situation where a woman I knew told me was her reaction to such a request (from her man to dress in sexy lingerie for him).  I can understand that some women also have insecurities about their bodies, and revealing lingerie may cause them to be alarmingly confronted by those fears, so if a woman was interested in perhaps playing with behaving or dressing a bit more “whorishly” for her husband (just think of whorish behaviour as being more flirtatious and adventurous than usual, what fun), a corset like this would be a great place to start.  Here’s hoping every wife out there doesn’t go for this though, or there might be a decline in demand for sex workers.  Just sayin’.
