It’s not like I’m trying to fool anyone into thinking I’m innocent and girlish really, but it’s good to mix things up a bit and try a different look. As I have a couple of favourite men who come back to see me, I’m dressing for them really, I don’t want them to get bored and wearing something different changes the mood quite a lot, even if it is mainly my mood and I am not approaching them the same way all the time because I feel a different kind of playful on this day.
The other thing about white is that it means I can wear it underneath a light coloured chemise, I have a very nice silk one which wouldn’t really work with a darker corset or different coloured undergarments.
The other thing I like to do is pair things which ordinarily would not be combined, like a more sedate looking chemise with fishnet stockings, which are generally associated with whorish behaviour. Even more unlikely is to then wear boots.
I have gentlemen enquiring by phone often who are asking me to wear boots. While I am still looking around for an over-the-knee pair with a very high stiletto heel, (think Julia Roberts in the questionable Pretty Woman movie) I haven’t found a pair yet of a quality I am happy with. For now though, the boots I do use are alright, and there is something about boots with a short skirt which is deliciously good girl bad girl, it’s impossible for me to resist juxtaposing them like this.
Oh, of course, any male readers of my blog will be thinking why on earth I am putting so much thought into this? Surely women’s clothing is like art, you just need to know that you like it, not have to come up with a reason why. It’s not that I’m over-thinking it, I just delight in it all. Because ordinarily women dress for other women they say, but when it comes to lingerie, especially if you are a sex worker obviously, you are only dressing for men.
With sex work, I am already breaking rules. So why not break a few more while I’m at it? As I said, I don’t want to break rules which are ridiculous to me, like pretending to be a schoolgirl at my age with my juicy body (WTF) but I’m all for using clothing to suggest a little “something something”. And the white is fun for pairing with something a little more risque as well.
Like a red dress. A red lace dress, with boots and fishnets over a sweet little white bustier. Very trollopy.
There is just something almost goading about a redhead who dares to wear the colour that supposedly clashes with her hair, it’s like the middle finger to the sensible.
