Step Two – sorting out ads

I have met a couple of working girls (whose identity will remain secret) through the house where I will be renting a room, and have listened to their feedback about advertising.  To start off with (and to keep my independence) I intend advertising in the Christchurch Press’s Escorts’ Column.  In my ad, I hope to include a link to this site, where I will post a number of photos to help the punter decide.

To advertise as an escort in the Press, you need a blue card.  To get a blue card, you have to go along and fill out a form, present ID which is photocopied, and they then give you a blue card.

I don’t intend on misleading anyone, and can guarantee that none of my photos will be photoshopped, mainly because I am taking care of resizing them etc myself and I don’t really know how to photoshop. I don’t need to get rid of any tattoos or body piercings which may identify me as I don’t have any.  Some of the images will be lightened though so that details will be easier to see. However, another reason I won’t be photoshopping anything out is that I just don’t want to disappoint anyone.  Imagine someone showing up and thinking that I have misrepresented myself to them, that would not be a nice feeling for both of us, and I would probably deserve a smack on my little, white derriere.

As I mentioned in the last post, I am hoping that I don’t get bothered by gentlemen who are not intending to be genuine clients.  Hopefully during busier periods someone else will help me by answering my phone.

There are options for online advertising, but I thought I would try “local” first.  While the newspaper classifieds may have a reputation for attracting bargain hunters or time wasters, I won’t really know how successful I will be until I have tried it.
